Before your first session
The practical stuff: policies, hours, levels and what you're agreeing to when you book.
- Where are you located?
- 45-14 98th Street, Corona, Queens, NY 11368. We are a private training studio, so the door is not a walk-in gym floor. Book a class or session first.
- What are your hours?
- Monday through Saturday, 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Do I need experience to join a group class?
- No. Classes are programmed with functional training principles and scaled to the person. We teach proper form and the mind-muscle connection behind every movement.
- ¿Hablan español?
- Sí. Y hablamos español. We coach in both English and Spanish, and we work with all age ranges.
- How do I cancel a reservation?
- Early cancellation is 24 hours or more before class time: log into your account and select 'cancel reservation' with no penalty.
- What happens if I cancel late?
- Less than 24 hours before class time results in loss of the class credit. Unlimited members are charged a $25 fee and are allowed 1 free late cancellation per month. No-shows are not included.
- What is the no-show policy?
- Package holders lose the class credit and pay a $20 fee. Unlimited members are charged a $30 no-show fee.
- Is there a liability waiver?
- Yes. Participation in classes, personal training, group workouts, events and challenges involves physical activity that carries inherent risk. Before your first session you will confirm you are physically able to participate, that you have consulted a physician if necessary, and that you accept the Gainzville NYC liability waiver, release and assumption of risk.
- Are photos taken in the studio?
- Photos and videos may be taken during classes or events and may be used for marketing unless you request otherwise in writing.
Member cancellation policy
The short version
Early cancellation
24 hours or more before class time. Cancel in your account with no penalty.
Late cancellation
Under 24 hours: you lose the class credit. Unlimited members pay $25, with 1 free late cancel per month.
